In Christ

Prayer Petition – It is Finished! Have you ever faced a situation that you knew was beyond your ability to get through? A situation that you knew in your heart that you needed a miracle to get through? That if God did not come to your rescue it was over for you? Well if you have or if you are currently facing "the impossible” I encourage you to read on.

First of all Philippians 4:13(NLT) tells us there is nothing we can not get through! "13For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength!”

To you, it may seem impossible, but not to God!

Matthew 19:26(NLT) "26Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Mark 9:23(NLT) "23"What do you mean, ‘If I can'?” Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes.”

Mark 10:27(NLT) "27Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”

When we are young in the Lord, God has been known to help people who say a simple prayer like, "God help me.” If it was a prayer from the heart and in all the faith they had at the time God can work with a prayer like that. I was in a vehicle wreck a few years ago and all I had time to say was, Jesus help!” Guess what He did? Not only did He save my life, but also the life of the young man who had fallen asleep at the wheel and hit my truck.

As we get more mature in our walk with the Lord we have found it to be more effective to pray according to God's Word. The bible says we are to pray "in the Spirit and with our understanding.” One way, to pray in the Spirit, is to pray in other tongues with the prayer language given when we are baptized in the Holy Ghost (with the evidence of other tongues). That is another whole teaching.

Another way is to take the Word of God you have studied, and take what God has shown you, then apply it to your situation and personalize it. When we pray this personalized Word out loud, we hear the Word spoken, and faith comes to us. When our faith grows we can expect victory over any situation.

I want to share today how we have walked through the impossible (with man, but not with God!) a situation we faced recently that seemed too much... until we took control of our situation and used the following scripture based confession to see full victory!

Psalms 91:1(NLT)
1 Dale & Rena Mae live in the shelter of the Most High they find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2This we declare about the LORD: He alone is our refuge, our place of safety; He is our God, and we trust him.
3 For He rescues us from every trap and protects us from deadly disease.
4 He covers us with His feathers. He shelters us with his wings. His faithful promises are our armor and protection.
5 We are not afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 We do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at our side, though ten thousand are dying around us, these evils will not touch us, or our families or our ministries.
8 We open our eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.
9 We make the LORD our refuge, we make the Most High our shelter,
10 no evil will conquer us; no plague will come near our homes.
11 For He orders His angels to protect us wherever we go.
12 They will hold us up with their hands so we won't even hurt our feet on a stone.
13 We will trample upon lions and cobras; we will crush fierce lions and serpents under our feet!
14 The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

We agree and accept Your protection Lord! Amen!

Isaiah 41:10-13(NLT)
10 We are not afraid, for The Lord is with us. We are not discouraged, for The Lord is our God. He will strengthen us and help us. He will hold us up with His victorious right hand.
11 "We see, all our angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes us will die and come to nothing.
12 We will look in vain for those who tried to conquer us. Those who attack us will come to nothing.
13 For The Lord holds us by our right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don't be afraid. I am here to help you.

We agree and accept Your help Lord! Amen!

Psalms 12:1(NLT)
1 Help, O LORD, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth!
2 Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts.
3 The LORD cuts off their flattering lips and silences their boastful tongues.
4 They say, "We will lie to our hearts' content. Our lips are our own—who can stop us?”
5 The LORD replies, "I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.”
6 The LORD's promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over.
7 Therefore, LORD, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation,
8 even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land.

We see and experience the protection of The Lord!

Isaiah 54:17(NLT)
17 This day no weapon turned against us will succeed. The Lord will silence every voice raised up to accuse us. These benefits are enjoyed by us, the servants of the LORD; our vindication comes from The Lord. The LORD, has spoken!

Every knee share bow to the name of The Lord, Jesus!

Deuteronomy 28:7(NLT)
7"The LORD conquers our enemies when they attack us. They will attack us from one direction, but they will scatter from us in seven!

We agree and expect Your intervention. Victory is ours, but the Glory is Yours, Lord!

When we are In Christ we expect His protection, His intervention, His restoration, His provision, His defence, His deliverance and His authority over every situation! It brings Him Glory!
