Are you wanting to go deeper in your experiences with God, but you are not interested in religious tradition that you have experienced in the past?

You want the real thing!

• Have you enjoyed the In Christ columns and are wanting to know more about Northern Light Ministries?

• You may have have heard about Word of Faith teaching, but you are not exactly sure what we teach?

• Or you are a Word of Faith believer and you are looking for a group to fellowship with. God's word is very clear that we are not to avoid the gathering with other like believers. You may have experienced a situation in church and now you're not comfortable with going to an organized religious building or group. You may have been hurt by someone within a church. I encourage you not to allow that to stop your growth or your walk with the Lord.

• If you are a born again believer and Spirit filled (or seeking) God needs you! We look at it as calling in the reserve army. Calling to action those of you with a sense of God moving, but not knowing what your part is.

I encourage you to go to our website, northernlightministries.ca to get to know who we are and what we teach. On our website we archive all the In Christ columns that we've submitted in the past. You can sign up for our newsletter and keep up to date to current happenings within our fellowship.

We are currently looking for a new place to meet on a regular basis. If you know of a place we would love to hear from you. Also, thank you to those of you who have e-mailed or called us -it is so exciting to hear the sense of urgency in the body of Christ. We believe God is about to do a great work here in Whitehorse and the Yukon. He has given us a vision for the city of Whitehorse and Yukon. You are part of it!

Northern Light Ministries is looking for

a few good men and women of "The Church”!

If this message and previous, In Christ messages have spoken to your heart and you feel God is prompting you to be a part of this ministry- now is the time. Northern Light Ministries is seeking those who are called of God to join our ministry team. Not currently involved in ministry? Or you are currently in the ministry, but feel God saying you can go higher! We will help you get the training you need to fulfil the call on your life -without leaving Whitehorse.

We will be starting a prayer (and teaching) meeting soon, to get to know you and your gifts. If you are born again and Spirit filled with the evidence of speaking in tongues (or seeking), and feel God is leading you to do your part in Northern Light Ministries, send us your resume and a cover letter explaining your desire to help us with a history about yourself (sharing your testimony and walk with the Lord).

Ministry accomplishments / training may not be recognized as credentials: nor failures in ministry be necessarily judged as unqualified – if God is stirring you -we want to hear from you! These positions are volunteer positions at this time.

This is exciting times we are living in! The Church needs you, doing your part so we all can accomplish more! Ephesians 4:16 "¹⁶He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
