The Love of God includes the love of His Word. The reason that I purposefully capitalized "Word” is because John 1:1 states that the Word was God & John 1:14 says the Lord Jesus became the Word of God.

If you truly love God & Jesus, then you will truly love the Word of God, which is the written Word. We should want to put it as highest authority in our life! It is also our spiritual food. As we read, study, & meditate on the Word (which means to ponder, or chew on) it can become a true foundation in our lives. It's our solid Rock if we believe that it is the truth and follow God's instructions within it.

What I really want you to get today is that God's Word is not just boring words written on paper – it is the very essence of life to our spirit.Hebrews 4:12 "12 For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.” NLT bible

I encourage you to read, study & meditate on what you read in God's Word. As you do this, believe it is God personally speaking to you, because He is, through His written Word! God's Word is His love letters to us.
