Facts vs. Truth. Did you know there is a difference? Jesus didn't just ask us nicely to operate in the God kind of faith He has - He commanded us to! In Mark 11:22 Jesus said, "Have faith in God” This actually means, "have the God kind of faith.” He was teaching the disciples an very important lesson. They were so surprised that the fig tree Jesus had cursed the previous day had withered up from the roots. The God kind of faith speaks out the will of God and is not concerned about the facts. The fact was, that when Jesus cursed the fig tree, it looked like nothing was happening. When we operate in faith we can not be moved by what we see. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

The God kind of faith in what Jesus spoke went to work on the situation, and the truth of what Jesus spoke overcame the facts. The fig tree dried up! Jesus operated in this God kind of faith. He told us in the Word of God that anyone who would do the same would have the same results He had. Why? Because it's His faith that is in us!

The fact may be there is a mountain of a problem in front of you. The truth is, that mountain must move when your faith (God's faith in you) is applied to it!

Facts are neither truth nor lies, just temporary conditions. Truth is what God says about the situation. Lies are what the devil says about the situation.

When someone visits the doctor with a medical issue, the doctor will diagnose the symptoms. The doctor gives this person the facts. Now it is our choice to accept the doctor's report, or go to what God says in His Word, and believe that instead. We don't claim the facts don't exist, we just believe that the truth of God's Word supersedes the facts!

The fact may be you have symptoms of sickness in your body. The truth is that you are healed by the stripes Jesus took on His body! It is your choice what you focus on.

The fact is, when you board a plane to fly, there is the law of gravity. Our common sense says that the heavy plane should not fly. The truth is, that the law of lift supersedes the law of gravity. What are you going to focus on?
