In Christ
Don't worry. Be happy! When we are In Christ we have access to super natural peace. In Philippians 4:6-7 we see that the peace that everyone craves is available. "6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” NLT Bible
If it is available why do we still see Christians going around worrying just like others who don't know the Lord? I believe it is because they have not been taught to exercise their faith and believe God to look after their situation. The above scripture is very clear, "if you do this you will experience God's peace.” The key to a worry free, peace filled life! "Pray about everything, tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done!” Let God be God!
Too often we have heard that you can't expect God to meet our needs. Why not? Who told you that? It is certainly not in the bible so that means someone made it up based on their experience. In 1 Peter 5:7-8 we see again that God does not want us to carry our burdens or worries. "7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you. 8 Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour. NLT Bible.
If we develop our faith and trust God in handling our situation, our finances, our marital problems, our children, our jobs, our life, we will hunt the lion instead of the other way around! It is time The Church used the tools made available to us as born again believers to live the life of victory that Jesus won for us. When we begin to comprehend the power made available to us we will then start to walk in it. When we start to walk in it we will see the miracles of healing and deliverance the world is longing for. It is available. Now is the time The Church demonstrated it.
In Ephesians, Paul says it best and this is my desire and prayer for you as well. Ephesians 1:15-22 15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for Christians everywhere, 16 I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people. 19 I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. 22 And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of The Church."
